Full Version: CDC driver problem with Windows 7 64bit

Hi

For install driver I tried to follow the wiki.

Arrived to step "1 Connect your Pinguino. " nothing happens.
To do something I must push button1 and reset.
At this point Windows install automatically her input driver instead of asking me for good driver (step 2)

With Windows driver all work well and I can send program to PIC32-PINGUINO-MICRO without any problems.

The only problem is CDC.
When I use the function CDC.print Windows found a new peripheral
"CDC RS-232 Emulation DEMO".
I tryed all the driver indicated in the Wiki but nothing happens.

Anyone have an idea to solve the problem??

Hi Moreno

The CDC driver is in the extra folder ( mchpcdc.zip ).
Did you try this one ?

Tanks, with the correct name I found immediatly here the driver and installed it.

Now I have my virtual COM.

Ops, now understand what you mean with extra, is the extra foldor of the installed software.
I need remove a lot of rust in my head.

Mmmm, today I did another installation and I tried to use mchpcdc.zip available in extra folder, it do not work, Windows refuse to install these drivers.

After i downloaded the driver from here, it are installed without problems.
