v12 ImportError : No module module named requests - spo256al2 - 24-03-2017

Hello
I just install the new v12 IDE but when I try to run it, the IDE fails to open. I get the following error:" ImportError : No module named requests".
I get the same result on several conf: vista 32bit, windows 7 64 bits, and windows 10 64bits

I don't understand what this error means;

V.

Hi,
Sorry for that. It'll be fixed in the next installer version.
Meanwhile you might try this :

- Linux only : sudo apt-get install python-requests

- Windows (it should work under Linux too) : python -m pip --upgrade requests

Hello Regis,
Where I have to put your command line? I tried in the python editor but it seems not the right way or I missed somthing.
Tks

In the MS-DOS command window or by pressing Windows + R to run this command :
C:\Python27\python.exe -m pip --upgrade requests
