USB COM device
Ok, so i got the Pinguino working.

I compiled a sketch into the pinguino to send a message to the PC running windows vista 32 bit using CDC. everything is ok.
ofter rebooting the Pinguino, Windows sees a new USB device LIBUSB32 ... , Microchip cdc rs232 serial... but what it does not do is open a COM x port to this.

i.e. no new COM device is registered.

What do i need to install for this to make a com device so i can use Putty?

It is easier to complain than it is to do, but it is better to do than it is to complain.
