Pinguino-CNC (pic and KiCAD files)
Here I give you another Pinguino module: An interface between pinguino and 3 CNC Stepper drivers. It has status 2 status leds for every axis (dir, step) and 1 enable led.
It also has its analog, digital and uart pins published for possible expansions.
Probably in a later version I'll add a relay on the board.

What code are you running on Pic ? I am trying to port GRBL to 4550/2550...

Hi CNC enthusiast !!

I join to this email the pcb of a stepper driver I built with a L6208. This driver can be used with Pinguino. I designed this stepper driver with Kicad.

Be careful, the L6208 need some precautions:

- never turn on the motor power supply ( 12Vcc ) before 5Vcc or your chip will burn !!
( I burned some L6208 before understanding this ).
- Always put a fan on the L6208, with this fan it can drive 1,5A ( no more than 0,8A without fan )
- Put fixed value for R7 and R8 ( current regulation ) instead of a variable resistor. This is better for stability.
- R1 and R2 are 3W resistors

I used and old PC power supply, but the L6208 accept voltage up to 24Vcc for the motor ( maybe more ).
