Wow! I'm speechless!! Thank you very much!

I'm sure this will give a boost to many projects around here, you're supporting Pinguino community in an amazing way!

RE: Embedded World 2012
This post/thread was very good!
When I saw "Embedded Conference 2012" I automatically assumed the one that recently happened in Santa Clara Ca., USA. I was ready to jump up and say "Why didn't Microchip & Pinguino show up in the vendor list?"
I live about 4 miles away from the Santa Clara, Ca, USA convention center and I was registered to go. After reading the threads that the conference was in Nurnberg I sighed and thought - awwwww! That's more than 4 miles away!! (more like 3K miles away?). I would have loved to attend - AND I would have loved to meet the people responsible for the Pinguino especially. And, to be on the decadent side, I LOVE German wurst & senf! I would have left here at 190 pounds and returned at 220 pounds!!
Congratulations to you all involved. Please try & come to the USA and repeat!

If there is an Olimex MX220 "secured" board ready for me please give mine to a teenager that can change the world!

Thanks Tsevetan! Big Grin

RE: Embedded World 2012
Just want to say "thank you very much" to Olimex.

It's good to see the effort on everybody's part to grow Pinguino.

This kind of stuff will help a "spiritual preparation" to the current members when, 1000 or more users may come to visit this place... I hope we can give them a good "welcome", so that large number of them may joint the group...

For current members, it's a great challenge and huge opportunity... 1000 new members can make a LOT of difference...

Thanks for including me on the list,
Valter

RE: Embedded World 2012
Hi,

Indeed it was busy week, note that first PIC32-PINGUINO-MX220 were built for Embedded so I couldn't send them before they are ready.

We received one of the first PICs from Microchip so this was also challenge for Regis and Jean-Pierre as they had to release the support for about week after I sent them the first prototypes, I do remember JP released 3 PinguinoIDEs releases in Sunday just before Embedded World was about to start Smile)))

Now I'm back and almost wiped out the backlog of 400+ e-mails which waited me in my inbox.

I check and the only addresses I have are: electronlibre, funlw65 , pingotg

So please guys do not be shy! I'm waiting the other members which I listed above in the thread to send me e-mail with their addresses as tomorrow I will send the list to our shipping to mail MX220 boards to all addresses I have!

RE: Embedded World 2012
Welcome back, I hope you had a great time Smile

Great news regarding the new board on your blog, don't worry about the comparisons with the Raspberry Pi, it is bound to happen. Yours is a much more flexible board - the Pi seems little more than a linux equipped toy that could have been oh so much more. Your board gives us that oh so much more us tinkerers desire so much.

While you're there, wish me luck when my pickit 3 arrives because I killed the bootloader on my pic32-pinguino OTG by sending it the wrong hex file from the command line - do you have a link to the latest bootloader hex? Tongue
Boards:
Arduino uno full, 2009 barebones
* Arduino version: 1.0.3 beta
* Processing version: 2.-0a4
PIC32-Pinguino MX440F rev. c
* Pinguino version: svn latest x.3
STM32F-Discovery
Arduino shields:
W5100 Ethernet and SD
OS: ubuntu 12.10 64 bit
