RE: Pin Layout Pinguino32 Micro
Regis,
I have altered the digitalw.c file now reflecting the "Pinguino 32 Micro" board.
The only disadvantage is that the led, used in the example blink, is no longer pin13.

RE: Pin Layout Pinguino32 Micro
Hello "Pinguino32 Micro" users,

Now the "digitalw.c"-file is reflecting new pin assignments for the Pinguino32 Micro I draw a layout of this pinning.

RE: Pin Layout Pinguino32 Micro
Hi

Thanks this is the first answer to my problems.

Using the MICRO BOARD With pin 13 and 30 the leds on my PIC32-PINGUINO-MICRO do not blink.
As workaroud I used OTG BOARD, now with your layout, all work correctly.

Bye Bye, Moreno

RE: Pin Layout Pinguino32 Micro
I am a little confused.

Why have you left out pins 33 to 41 in your MICRO defs in digitalw.c you posted in Post 11?

I am using pin 39 (SPI chip select) in my code.

Thanks,
Dale

RE: Pin Layout Pinguino32 Micro
I think, you are using an old digitalw.c file.

RE: Pin Layout Pinguino32 Micro
Would it not be wise to remove the digitalw.c file from your post #11 or at least keep it current as it does not have pins 33-41 in it.

Dale,

the post you referred to is clearly dated 24 Feb 2012 whereas the digitalw.c file in the trunk (X.2) version of was updated on 03 Mar 2012 and on the X.3 branch several times since along with numerous other changes. Any post on the forum, and they are all time and date stamped, can only be relevant to the environment at that time and must always be read with that in mind.

With a developing and evolving environment such as Pinguino users always have to remember that and make sure that they do not mis-apply information from old posts that have been superseded by changes in the environment. I do not think it is realistic to suggest that people who post information on the forum should go back and change their posts to take account of subsequent changes.

RE: Pin Layout Pinguino32 Micro
While I agree with your reasoning on one hand, on the other I personally try to take the responsibility in my postings to update my thread/revise erroneous posts etc to ensure that future thread goers can follow the validity and process of gaining the correct knowledge which they seek. In this case, I do not think it unreasonable to believe that a 10 day old file posting would be current, however it is not and it would be so easy to remove the file.

Just my opinion though. Nuff said.

Dale,

I don't know what calendar you are using but 25 Feb 2012, the date of Post #11 in this thread, is a lot more than 10 days ago Nuff said! ;-)
