RE: 28 pin DIP 32MX Chip
The PICkit3 clones on ebay are now way too expensive, so I bought one from AliExpress ($US 19.28):

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/pickit3-P...38163.html

It works fine provided you are careful not to accidentally hit the Programmer-To-Go button which extends from the casing. Doing so will permanently kill a PIC32 if there is no program in the programmer EEPROM memory. I've been meaning to replace the tactile button with a shorter one, but I usually only deal with PIC18s so it's not been an issue yet.

I've seen that say icp02 can become just reprogramming the 2550 pickit.

If I make it pickit 2 Podre schedule pic32mx250 the files in this thread?

Thank you!

I'm not sure what you are saying as it looks like your meaning has been tortured by Google translate.

Taking a wild guess, you are asking if you use the ipc02 to program a 2550 with the pickit2 firmware, will the ipc02 work as a true clone... if so, I have no idea, sorry.

RE: 28 pin DIP 32MX Chip
To correctly handle PIC32MX1x, PIC32MX2x the PICkit2 PC program has to be modified as well. That's why I suggested using the pic32prog software because it handles PIC32s. If pic32prog does not work with the ipc02, then the best course of action is to buy a PICkit3 clone.

RE: 28 pin DIP 32MX Chip
now I understand. Thanks and sorry, I thought you were talking about the hardware, not the software :-(

thanks
