One of Pinguinos developers asked me if it had the USB conected to the D+ D- and it does( has a switch , and i guess must be so it covers both different type of chips).

PS- By the way, i just tried the Test Example led, with increase of how fast increases the blinking and took me at least 2 hours to understand it, no serious explanations online, only some videos and by the 40th minute all id got was the type of architecture and how the MPLab works , etc...
BUT, after i decided to look at it slowly( IDE i mean) and by intuition i got there eventually. But is definitely not user friendly at all !! Plus debugger im still trying to find how it works... Thats hwy PINGUINO has to be a good thing !! It will definitely bring more and more people to PICS power !
Shame DIP chips wont reach the 80MHz

*PS- After researching it seems i can at least program the bootloader into it. Though i aint sure if i can use the Microstick to use it as im not sure what kind of Xtal uses...Not sure if this makes sense, but then again i dont know the type of architecture of PICS at all, so im just guessing here). MPlab does accept importing of HEX files, so seems ill be laughing all the way out on this ! Then the building a board is easy peasy for me anyway !! Ill keep sharing for now anything that might help others in future !!

Hi,
I am pretty sure (say 99,9%) that you can burn the HID bootloader (the pinguino one) into a PIC32 you have plugged in the intended socket (lets call this PIC "the target", while the board is "the host", if it's easier to understand). Then you will just have to put this programmed PIC into the small pinguino32 board, and test& enjoy Big Grin !!
But again, i am also pretty sure that you can not burn the HID bootloader into the microstick (or at least i will not do that myself, avoiding to "brick" the microstick board).
I agree with pingotg, using pickit is really easy and straightforward.(Actually is use a pickit clone to burn the bootloader into the pic18f2550, which i later put on the pinguino board ;-) )
But for sure, the pinguino stuff (IDE and language) is a bit easier to understand, for the "software side" (at least interrupts and ports access are easy to use )
