Schematic for DIY Pinguino
Hello All,

I have checked the google-code website, all it provides is a schematic in image format and a board format of Kicad. I am trying to make the circuit in perfboard, but my problem is understanding certain components.

1. The 10 micro farad capacitors, are they polarized? or can I use regular ones?
2. What is the element called GS1?

I also tried to check for BOM list, but nothing I have found so far. Your help is really appreciated.

Thanks!

The Forum's crystal ball is in for its 10,000Km service, so you are going to have to tell us which schematic you are using.

RE: Schematic for DIY Pinguino
1. The capacitors are polarised electrolytic ones which you should use.

2. GS1 is a 3 pin jumper which lets you choose between powering via USB or via an external power supply which goes through the 3V3 7833 voltage regulator.
