Run application at BootTime (Solved by 4.13BL)
Hi Guys,

My application is with 18f4550-bootloader 4.9,

I'm looking for an Workaround for run application at boot time.

Something like run jumper in bootloader 1.0..

Is there some possibilities?

or How can i recompile a bootloader for add this function?

any help will be appreciated Big Grin

Hi,
Your Italian sounds a bit english Wink
Boot v4.09 can run application at boot time if there is no USB connection.
The user/boot led should be on for 5 sec. before your program starts.

It is easier to complain than it is to do, but it is better to do than it is to complain.

Big Grin

Opppss...

Ok, many thanks for reply..

I need "No delay start", my application can't wait five seconds..
The best way may be an digital input for Boot/Run immediatly after power-on or reset...

Any idea? Rolleyes

RE: Run application at BootTime
Why not leave out the bootloader? That way no delay.

RE: Run application at BootTime
Your own app can use USB without any bootloader, surely.

Or live with the bootloader small delay - or even patch it out...
