Are you interested in Pinguino/Processing communication ?
In 2009 and 2010 Jean Pierre Mandon gave a lot of information to allow us to communicate from a Processing sketch to a 18fx550 Pinguino.
Look at http://jpmandon.blogspot.fr/search/label...Processing.
At this time Jean Pierre used hypermedia.pinguino as USB library and the bootloader was V2.12 or equivalent. USB parameters were configuration 3 and Endpoints 0x01 (out) and 0x82 (in).
Since the current bootloader is V4.14 very different from V2.12.
USB parameters are configuration 1 and Endpoints 0x01 (out) and 0x81 (in).
Thus the communication fails.
I have succeeded to modify the pinguino.java for the 2 new parameters.
Another thing for Windows's users LibusbJava.dll is compiled in 32bits mode. So you have to install a Processing version in 32 bits. I use v2.1 Windows 32bits.
Therefore you can from the information given by Jean Pierre download the  Java lib, install it in the Processing environment. Then you replace the Pinguino.jar by the new one which is joined.
I join also the initial sketch  pinguino.pde lightly modified (to use on your PC, installed in a pinguino folder according to the Processing instructions) and the initial usbpinguino.pde (to install in examples folder and upload to your board) modified to take into account the new usb/bulk library (usb.c  _bulk.c usb_bulk.c).
In case of troubles don't hesitate to ask more explanation.
André
PS:
Have a look to:
http://www.ubaa.net/shared/processing/pinguino/
I added more info into usbprocessing.pde see attached file.
Edit 27/10/2015 : in usbprocessing.zip I replace usbprocessing.pde by an updated one

Attached Files
.zip   usbprocessing.zip (Size: 4.58 KB / Downloads: 5)
.pde   usbprocessing.pde (Size: 1.61 KB / Downloads: 22)

RE: Are you interested in Pinguino/Processing communication ?
Hello,

One year as passed....

I saw this post and tryed, on the pinguino side, it gave me an error on line 6:uchar todo,mode,pin,value;
The output is this: [OUT] ERROR: 6: token -> 'todo' ; column 10

What's wrong?
