Wink  Pinguino missing compiler 32-bit
Hello

I have already installed Pinguino V. 11 for windows. Everything went well during instalation. Compiling for 8-bit boards: no problem. When selecting a 32-bit board: initially I got the message " Missing libraries and compiler for 32-bit" (please see img. 1). After uncompress the pinguino-libraries-master.zip and copy "pinguino-libraries-master\p32" files into the C:\pinguino-ide\libraries\p32\ directory the message changed to "Missing compiler for 32-bit" (img.2). The paths seem to be correct (img3 and img4). After searching in forums/wiki/google I couldn´t reach to any solution. Can you give me some help.

Thanks in advance.

The mips-elf... programs should almost certainly be p32-... .exe - try renaming them Smile

Hi

Sorry but I get the same message even after renaming as you suggested.

Hi @pmanuel, hi all !

First, thanks for your feedback about the Windows Installer.

About your question, I would say that the installer intentionally don't has build-in the p32 compiler inside for installer size reasons. Sory.

I think that you can download from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pinguino...s/windows/ the correct file:

+ pinguino-windows32-gcc-mips-elf.zip is the p8 compiler.
+ pinguino-windows32-sdcc-mpic16.zip is the p32 compiler.

In a next beta release of the installer, I would add a screen where the user can select install p8 only or p32 too.

Those zip names look to be swapped.

Jjaja, maybe this is the reason for the Windows Installer don't work.
I would post in Software/Development the complete folder tree of a C:\pinguino-ide\ path so any in the forum can help to identify if there are some missing file/folder.

I recently posted that I had found the v11 32-bit completely broken.

Any update as to whether you have found a way to get it working?

Hi!

We have been working on the release-3 of the Windows Installer. I hope that is ready between this week.

There are new versions of the compiler packages. You can download them from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pinguino...s/windows/

How about a link to an older version that actually works?

Anything, anything that works.

It's the #1 requirement of all software, as Gerry Weinberg pointed out.
