RE: Help on compiling the Ethernet example
Hello J.A.R.,
I just tried the ICSP mode with 18f2550 or 18f47j53 and I got the same error as you. In bootloader mode it is OK for the 18f47j53 and I got the previous error for the 18f2550.
There is surely  a bug in ICSP mode. I look for a solution.
For the 18f2550 I look for understanding why the processing is different from the 18f4550.

I have found a solution for ICSP (18f2550 and 18f47j53) and for the 18f2550 + bootloader4.
The problem is in the .lkrs. I changed the size of some DATABANKs as it was already done in the 18f4550.lkr.
So keep a copy of the original files, then add the attached ones in p8\lkr folder.

18f2550_g.lkr and 18f47j53_g.lkr are requested by ICSP mode.
boot4.18f2550.lkr is requested for Bootloader mode and a big memory request.

André

Hi André,

Great!

It now compiles in all the four possibilities (ISP/Bootloader v4.x  and 2550/47J53).

I will now switch to the hardware.

Thanks
